GuardRegister.uk is a UK compliance verification platform built for the physical security industry. We make it simple for security guards, security companies and their clients to manage, verify and share SIA licence and vetting compliance data.
The UK security industry has long suffered from a lack of transparency. Cash-in-hand working, fake BS7858 vetting certificates, SIA licence holders working whilst on benefits, and companies phoenixing overnight — these are real, systemic problems that put venues, the public and legitimate operators at risk.
With Martyn's Law (Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025) enforcement beginning Spring 2027, the SIA now has powers to inspect any UK venue and demand documentary evidence of security compliance. GuardRegister.uk was built to make that compliance easy to demonstrate and impossible to fake.
For guards: A free, permanent profile where you control your own compliance data. Add your SIA licences, set your availability and share your profile with employers via a unique share code.

GuardRegister.uk is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the Security Industry Authority. SIA licence validation is performed via the SIA public register through the SIAChecker.co.uk API.
